You are here: HOME>GEORGIA BANKRUPTCY LAW QUESTIONS>HOW DO I START?

How quickly can you file for me?

After we have decided that bankruptcy is the right move for you and you have provided me with your financial information I can have your case filed within hours or days, depending on your immediate need.  I discourage my clients from filing quickly as I explain in the following article

What should I do if I am ready to get started?

You will need to contact Susan Blum or me to get the process started.  I can be reached by phone at 770-393-4985 or by e-mail - (ginsberg.bankruptcy @ gmail.com) Since e-mail has become more common, I find that most of my new clients have started by sending me an introductory e-mail discussing their debt situation or by completing my “2 page” Atlanta bankruptcy form.  You can leave the introductory e-mail anonymous if you wish.

Other people find that downloading and completing my new client intake form is the best way to organize their thoughts.  You can download my new client questionnaire as follows:

Georgia bankruptcy questionnaire in Adobe Acrobat

You can fax the completed questionnaire to me at 770-393-0240.

Please note that I only represent bankruptcy filers in the Northern District of Georgia, which includes Newnan, Gainesville and Rome.  If you live in Columbus or Macon, please email me and I’ll be happy to make a referral.  I am also a member of a national group of very skilled bankruptcy lawyers called the Bankruptcy Law Network.  My BLN colleagues and I publish a blog which can be found at www.bankruptcylawnetwork.com.   .
